How wo i get my laptop to display on aquos sharp 40le810un?

i want to be able to acess internet from my laptop on the tv .So that i can play movies from internet on a bigger screen.Every time i try it puts me in a page where there is no search engine so its frustrating me. Can someone Please help me out .
