Why Do people say America was Founded on Christianity?

Technically, it was founded on Godly principles. There were a lot of non-christian forefathers who believed that our country should be founded on Godly principles. Godly principles provide boundaries that ensure that the people of this country don't just run around breaking any laws that they please. We have unfortunately gotten so far away from that.
