In this situation would you still have to pledge allegiance to the flag of America?
Many schools have little mini laws and rules unto themselves. Yes, they can make a child say the Pledge, whether the child wants to or not. My own daughter in 6th grade was forced to stand and say the pledge every morning. When she objected they threatened to suspend her. When I found out I was livid. I was informed from the principal that they would make a concession this one time where my daughter is concerned, and she had to stand, but would not be required to say the pledge. So much from freedoms lol.
