Officer lied in the court, i proved that to appeal court still guilty?

going inside battery tunnel i was following police car going 35 mph and got a ticket for tailgating, in the court officer sad "i looked in the rear view mirror and counted dividers between our cars there were 4 dividers and there is 6 inches between dividers thus the distance between our cars was about 24 inches" not only it is impossible to count number of dividers looking in the rear view mirror going 35 mph but the distance between dividers is more than 1 yard so it is a lie... what should i do?
