Question about the Pledge and the words "under God"?

It is a district by district decision for the pledge to be in the schools. Many systems do not say it anymore and in places where it is said, there are movements to have it banned. As for the under god part, it wasn't original to the pledge in the first place so say it, don't, it doesn't matter. Pride in the US is now viewed upon as a weakness. The pledge is looked upon as indoctrination. The US is not special in today's global life views. That outlook is one of the very real issues that now face our nation. I'm thinking the creator issue has even more ramifications then the pledge.
